Welcome to Josch Tour and Travels. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, rental vehicles, chauffeur-driven vehicles, taxi services, airport transfers, corporate transportation, wedding transportation and other travel-related services.

By accessing our website, submitting a booking enquiry, making a payment, or using any service provided by Josch Tour and Travels, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. General

Josch Tour and Travels provides car rental and transportation services primarily within Goa and other locations agreed at the time of booking.

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by our team. Submission of an enquiry through the website, WhatsApp, telephone or another communication channel does not automatically constitute a confirmed booking.

A booking is confirmed only after confirmation has been communicated by Josch Tour and Travels and any applicable advance payment has been received.

2. Eligibility for Self-Drive Rentals

To rent and operate a self-drive vehicle, the customer must:

• Hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category.
• Provide valid government-issued identity proof.
• Leave one original photo ID for verification, such as a PAN card, voter ID, Aadhaar card or passport, when required.
• Be at least 25 years old and meet any driving-experience requirement communicated at booking.
• For international customers, hold a valid driving licence and, where legally required, an International Driving Permit.
• Provide original documents or copies for verification when requested.

Josch Tour and Travels may refuse to hand over a vehicle if satisfactory documentation is not provided or the customer appears unfit to operate it safely.

3. Booking and Vehicle Availability

Vehicle models displayed on our website are subject to availability. We make reasonable efforts to provide the selected vehicle. If it becomes unavailable because of a breakdown, delayed return, maintenance or another unforeseen situation, we may offer a comparable alternative, except where the original vehicle has been involved in an accident and no suitable replacement is available.

Website photographs are representative. The colour, variant, registration year and certain specifications of the actual vehicle may differ.

4. Rental Charges

Rental charges are communicated before confirmation and may vary according to the vehicle, rental duration, season and demand, pickup and drop location, additional kilometres, chauffeur requirements, delivery or collection requirements, and additional requested services.

Additional charges incurred during the rental period are payable by the customer.

5. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required for vehicles. The applicable amount will be communicated before or during booking. Unless expressly stated, GST is separate.

The deposit may be adjusted against unpaid rental charges, vehicle damage, missing accessories, traffic fines, fuel charges, excessive cleaning, late returns or another amount payable by the customer. Any refundable balance will be processed after vehicle inspection and settlement of outstanding amounts.

6. Payment

Payments may be accepted through methods made available by Josch Tour and Travels. A booking may require full advance payment. Customers must ensure payment information is accurate and that they are authorised to use the selected method.

Online payment processing may also be subject to the payment provider's terms. Bank-account transactions for self-drive rentals may attract 18% GST. A GST-paid bill will be provided when requested.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation charges may depend on the notice given, vehicle type and nature of the booking. Conditions communicated at booking form part of these Terms.

Approved refunds may take up to seven business days depending on banks and payment providers. No refund is provided for a shortened rental after handover unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Pick-Up and Drop-Off

Customers must provide accurate pickup and drop details and arrive at the agreed time or promptly report delays. Delivery or collection may be available at airports, hotels, railway stations, bus stands and other agreed Goa locations, subject to availability and charges.

The standard rental day runs from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following morning. The next 8:00 a.m. cutoff applies regardless of the time the vehicle is collected. Significant delays, late returns or location changes may incur additional charges.

9. Vehicle Use

Self-drive customers must operate the vehicle responsibly and comply with Indian law and traffic regulations. A vehicle must not be used unlawfully, driven by an unauthorised person, used for racing or dangerous off-road activity, driven under the influence, used to carry prohibited goods, deliberately or negligently damaged, or taken outside an authorised area without prior permission.

The customer must take reasonable precautions to protect the vehicle throughout the rental period.

10. Traffic Violations and Fines

The customer is responsible for traffic violations, parking fines, toll violations and penalties arising during the rental. Amounts received later by Josch Tour and Travels may be recovered from the customer with reasonable administrative charges where applicable.

11. Fuel

The fuel level may be recorded at handover. Unless otherwise agreed, the vehicle must be returned with the agreed level. Fuel shortages may be charged to the customer. Incorrect fuelling and resulting damage are the customer's responsibility.

12. Accidents, Damage and Breakdown

In an accident, breakdown, theft or damage, contact Josch Tour and Travels immediately. Do not arrange major repairs without prior approval unless necessary to protect life or prevent immediate additional damage.

The customer must provide information, photographs, police documents and other details reasonably required for insurance or investigation. Financial responsibility depends on the circumstances, insurance coverage, negligence and rental agreement. Damage caused by deliberate misuse, reckless driving, intoxication, unauthorised drivers or violation of these Terms may not be insured.

13. Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for their belongings. Josch Tour and Travels is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to items left in rental or chauffeur-driven vehicles, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

14. Chauffeur and Taxi Services

Journey estimates may be affected by traffic, road closures, weather, government restrictions and circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Customers must provide accurate pickup times, locations and contact details. Waiting time, extra kilometres or hours, parking, tolls and other expenses may be charged according to the booked service.

15. Airport and Railway Transfers

Customers are responsible for correct flight, train and arrival information. We will reasonably try to accommodate delays when informed or when updated travel information is available. Waiting charges may apply.

16. Wedding, Event and Corporate Bookings

Special conditions, advance-payment requirements and cancellation terms may apply to wedding cars, corporate and conference transport, vintage vehicles, film shoots, pre-wedding shoots and other events. Any quotation or written booking confirmation forms part of the agreement.

17. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information current. Prices, availability, photographs, specifications and services may change without notice. Website information is not a guaranteed offer until confirmed by our team.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Josch Tour and Travels is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical failures, government restrictions or third-party actions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Indian law.

19. Customer Conduct

We may refuse or discontinue service if a customer behaves abusively, threatens staff or drivers, damages property, uses a vehicle unlawfully or materially breaches these Terms.

If vehicle or driver details have not been received, customers should contact us one day before reaching Goa to reconfirm the booking.

20. Changes to These Terms

Josch Tour and Travels may modify these Terms periodically. The latest website version applies to future bookings unless different terms have already been agreed for a confirmed booking.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to consumer-protection laws and mandatory legal requirements, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Goa, India.
